CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE NATIONAL 2017 GROUP
The National 2017 Group was first convened in October 2017 and today includes 9 Members who lead more than 20,000 employees across 8 countries.
Member organisations represent some of the most male-dominated industries in Australia including: heavy automotive, manufacturing, gas and electricity services. With national and international reach, the Group’s goal is to improve the representation of women in leadership positions and in non-traditional roles within their organisations.
The National 2017 Group focuses on three key areas: normalising and enabling flexible work for the frontline; creating and sustaining inclusive work environments, with a focus on psychological safety; and influencing gender equality in the value chain.

James Fazzino
Non-Executive Director
James Fazzino is an experienced executive, having held senior international leadership roles in manufacturing, chemicals and engineering-centred organisations.
A former CEO and CFO, James currently serves on the Board of Rabobank, Tassal and Australian Pipelines Limited (APA Group).
James is also the Chair of Manufacturing Australia.
Kristen Hilton
Former Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner
Kristen Hilton was Victoria’s Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner from June 2016 to May 2021.
As Commissioner, Kristen’s role was to promote and protect human rights and equality across the state and lead the Commission’s work in creating a rights respecting culture within organisations, governments and communities.
