Scott Wyatt

Scott Wyatt joined Champions of Change Coalition in 2017.

Over more than 30 years, Scott has worked extensively across Australia and New Zealand in a wide variety of leadership roles within the downstream oil business including strategy, marketing (consumer and commercial), oil supply and distribution operations.

Following the acquisition of Shell’s downstream oil business in Australia by Vitol, Scott led the business through the transition and continues as CEO of the new company (Viva Energy Australia). Viva Energy is one of the largest downstream oil companies operating in Australia, which employs over 2,000 staff and contractors across Refining, Supply, Distribution, Sales and Marketing operations.

Scott was born in Wellington, New Zealand. He graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Scott lives in Melbourne, is married with two teenage children and enjoys travelling and relaxing near the water (boating, fishing and diving).

Scott Wyatt is a Member of the Champions of Change National 2017 Group. Members of this group have a strong industrial manufacturing and transport focus, and work within traditionally male dominated environments. The Group’s goal is to increase the representation of women in leadership positions and in non-traditional roles across their organisations.
