Shahmeer Butt is a corporate finance and investment professional and has worked in different organizations in Pakistan and United Arab Emirates. He currently serves as Managing Director at Next Pharmaceuticals, being responsible for strategy, financial planning, marketing, and other operational areas. Prior to this, he served in the Group Corproate Finance Team for Al Futtaim Private Company where he was involved in multiple transactions in various sectors ranging from Automotive, Retail and Real Estate businesses.
Shahmeer is a Board Member at Adamjee Life – a PSX listed company where he also serves as Chairman – Board Audit Committee and Chairman – Board Ethics, HR and Remuneration Committee. He is a member of Lahore’s chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) which is a global peer-to-peer network of more than 14,000 influential business owners in 61 countries.
He holds a Bsc (Hons) degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School (Bayes Business School) at City, University of London and is a Certified Director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
