Dean McIntyre is GHD’s Executive General Manager – Australia and leads a team of over 4000 engineers, scientists, architects, planners and other multidisciplinary professionals in 45 offices across Australia. He has overall responsibility for the strategy execution, growth and operational performance of GHD in Australia. He is also a member of the APAC Leadership Team and Enterprise Management Team.
Dean has more than 30 years’ experience in leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure and environmental projects throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Dean has previously held leadership roles in Victoria and Southeast Asia, and has worked in numerous GHD offices across Australia and in the Philippines.
Dean holds qualifications in civil engineering and an MBA, and has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard.
As a passionate I&D advocate, Dean is Chair of GHD’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee in Australia and the Executive Sponsor of its Neurodiversity Employee Reference Group.

The group brings together CEOs and Regional Managing Directors of some of Consult Australia’s premier member firms. The group is committed to bringing about change and advancing equality in this traditionally male dominated profession.
