Khurrum AshfaqueKhurrum Ashfaque is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Pakistan, with a career spanning over two decades of local and international experience. His journey with Telenor Pakistan began in 2006, and since then, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s technological and digital evolution.

In his previous role as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Khurrum skillfully merged technology and business operations. This strategic move enhanced the company’s customer-centric approach and laid a strong foundation for technological advancements such as Telenor Pakistan’s ambitious network transformation initiative. This visionary project aimed to modernise the network infrastructure to keep pace with evolving technology trends while optimising resources and service costs.

Before joining Telenor Pakistan, Khurrum worked with leading global names such as Nortel Networks and Nokia Alcatel.

Khurrum’s academic journey began at NED Engineering University in Karachi. Complementing his formal education, he further enriched his skills through leadership development programs at prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School and INSEAD, showcasing his commitment to continuous growth and innovation.

The Pakistan group includes representatives from various sectors including hospitality, telecommunications, information technology, micro-finance and sport. Members are committed to leading on gender equality, diversity and women’s empowerment within their organisations and in society as a whole.
