CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE PHILIPPINES
Officially launched in July 2020, the Philippines Group includes leaders from various industries including Oil and Gas, Logistics, Insurance, Professional Services, Specialty Retail, and Automotive.
The Members work within organisations and across industries to focus and lead on gender equality, diversity and inclusion, and women’s economic empowerment with a special focus on flexible work and return to the workplace; gender-balanced recruitment; and gender inclusive public image.
The Philippines Group was founded in 2019 through Investing in Women (IW), an initiative of the Australian Government, in partnership with the Philippine Business Coalition of Women Empowerment (PBCWE), and the Philippine Women’s Economic Network (PhilWEN)

Chairperson Makati Business Club
Edgar O. Chua is the Chairperson of a number of organisations including the Makati Business Club, the Integrity Initiative, the Philippine Business for Environment, the Philippine Eagle Foundation and the Board of Trustees of DLSU. Edgar is an Independent Director on the Boards of Energy Development Corporation (EDC), Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc (IMI) and Metrobank.

Ma. Aurora Geotina-Garcia “Boots” is currently the President of Mageo Consulting Inc., a company providing business advisory and corporate finance services. She is the current Chairperson of the Philippine Women’s Economic Network (PhilWEN) and Co-Chairperson of the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE).

The Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE) was launched in March 2017 through Investing in Women (IW), an initiative of the Australian Government. IW has partnered with the Philippine Women’s Economic Network (PhilWEN) to create a business coalition to pursue gender equality in the workplace and women’s economic empowerment nationwide

The Philippine Women’s Economic Network (PhilWEN) is a consortium of six women’s groups, representing a broad section of industries. PhilWEN advocates the economic empowerment of women through initiatives that encompass a wide age and socioeconomic reach.
