Zeeshan Baig is the General Manager of Syngenta Pakistan. A business executive with extensive leadership and management experience across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Track record of successfully formulating/delivering commercial strategy, leading/transforming operations across large organizations, and scaling high growth businesses. Zeeshan is currently heading Syngenta Pakistan, a swiss based leading agriculture input player, where he is managing P&L for the country. Zeeshan alongside his leadership team is also spearheading the digital and technology mandate for Syngenta in order to enable growers reimage the future for agriculture.
Formerly Country General Manager for Careem Pakistan, where Zeehsan Baig played a a pivotal role in building strong teams and growing the business into a multi-million-dollar business that created over 800,000 jobs across Pakistan. Zeeshan also successfully steered the organization through major disruptions that came as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining Careem, Zeeshan worked as a Strategy & Operations consultant with Deloitte in their Middle East office and delivered consulting engagements across Europe, US, and MENA regions.
