Wes is the Managing Partner of McKinsey and Company’s Australia and New Zealand Practice. He is a Senior Partner at the firm with more than 20 years of experience serving private and public sector clients across Australia, Asia, Europe and the US. As one of the firm’s most globally experienced transformation leaders, Wes has led strategy, transformation, and reinvention work across a broad range of sectors—including Government, not-for profit, energy, resources and transport/logistics—with some of Australia’s largest organisations. Wes is passionate about helping organisations put sustainable outcomes at the core of their transformation and growth strategies. This stems from his belief that we are within a unique window of the most important energy and sustainability change for generations to come – a perspective founded is his 10 years in environmental management and sustainability economics prior to McKinsey. Wes is a Rupert Murdoch Fellow, and holds an MBA (Melbourne/Chicago), Master of Environmental Management, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
