Steve Coster is Managing Director of international design firm HASSELL. Steve heads a network of studios with around 800 architects, interior designers, landscape architects and urban designers working across multiple sectors, on projects of every scale.
He is particularly focused on how physical places (and the design process itself) can support broader strategic goals and performance.
Steve Coster is a specialist in workplace strategy and design. He has developed project briefs, design frameworks and change management plans across workplaces, co-working communities, office buildings, laboratories, University Campuses and city precincts.
He is currently working with clients including Arup, Nike, SEEK and the University of Melbourne.
Steve was previously Australian Managing Director of workplace strategy consultancy DEGW and holds a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Melbourne.

The Group is committed to working together to proactively address the issue of gender equality, and women’s representation in leadership in Australian architecture practices, and across the profession.
