Sophie FallmanSophie Fallman is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and Head of Real Estate in Australia. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all of Brookfield’s real estate activities, including investments, portfolio management and new fund formation in the country.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Fallman was the Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield’s private real estate funds in New York, where she was involved in fund operations, portfolio management and investor relations, as well as pursuing strategic fund initiatives for Brookfield globally. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, she was the fund manager of a core-plus institutional real estate fund at Investa Property Group in Sydney, where she gained experience in asset management, development management and corporate property acquisitions.

Ms. Fallman holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors) from RMIT University, a Master of Finance from Financial Services Institute of Australasia (“FINSIA”) and has completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

She also serves as National Vice-President on the Property Council of Australia board.

Sophie Fallman is a Member of the Champions of Change Property Group established in 2015 in partnership with The Property Council of Australia. The Property group brings together senior leaders across the industry’s development and construction, investment, funds management and agency sectors. The group aims to achieve greater gender equality in the property industry and to increase the number of women in leadership roles.
