Russell Proutt has over 30 years of global leadership experience with a breadth of knowledge from commercial property markets, infrastructure and private equity. Russell has held several leadership positions with market leading funds management platforms, and brings experience in investment management as well as extensive merger and acquisition, capital markets, corporate transaction and financing capabilities across global markets.
Most recently, Russell was the Chief Financial Officer of Charter Hall Group. Prior to this he was with Brookfield Asset Management as a Managing Partner based in Canada and, more recently, Australia, where he worked in the property and infrastructure sectors throughout the Asian region. Russell also spent 15 years in investment banking and the financial services sector in North America.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Chartered Business Valuator.

Russell Proutt is a Member of the Champions of Change Property Group established in 2015 in partnership with The Property Council of Australia. The Property group brings together senior leaders across the industry’s development and construction, investment, funds management and agency sectors. The group aims to achieve greater gender equality in the property industry and to increase the number of women in leadership roles.
