PPeter Burnseter Burns has over 29 years of broad-based financial services and service industry advisory expertise in banking, wealth management, insurance and government agencies. He has worked with business leaders throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States on corporate strategy, customer-led growth and business transformation.

Prior to joining Accenture, Peter led PwC’s Global Banking and Capital Markets practice and was a member of the Board of Booz & Co.

Peter has a Masters from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration where he graduated with high distinction and was elected a George F. Baker Scholar and a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Bond University where he was awarded the School of Business Scholarship.

Married with two adult children he is a keen traveller with a passion for remote locations and diverse cultures.

Champions of Change STEM

Peter Burns is a Member the Champions of Change STEM Group which was established in 2016 with support from the Australian Government’s National Innovation and Science Agenda. The STEM group aim to achieve a significant and sustainable increase in the representation of women in leadership positions in STEM.
