Programmed Skilled Workforce, Programmed Training Services & PERSOLKELLY
Joining Programmed in 2009 Nic was appointed CEO of Programmed Integrated Workforce and its associated companies in April 2013 and then with the acquisition of Skilled Group in October 2015 was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Programmed Skilled Workforce, Australia’s largest staffing business. In his current capacity, Nic is responsible for Programmed’s Staffing and Training businesses including PERSOLKELLY, leading more than 20,000 people across Australia and New Zealand.
Under his leadership, Programmed has grown to become one of the largest employers in Australia. He is a passionate advocate for diversity and gender equality, significantly improving indigenous engagement and female representation in leadership roles as well as participation in traditionally male dominated fields of employment.
His contribution to the Safety and wellbeing of workforces is well known and has seen Programmed become a leading reference for Safety culture and practice.
Nic is married with two children and lives an active life, enjoying family, sports and the outdoors.
Nic Fairbank is a Member of the Champions of Change National 2021 Group. Members of this group have a strong industrial manufacturing and transport focus, and work within traditionally male dominated environments. The Group’s goal is to increase the representation of women in leadership positions and in non-traditional roles across their organisations.
