Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed is the MD & CEO of EFU Life, the leading private sector life, health and retirement solutions provider in Pakistan. He brings over two decades of professional experience in the insurance industry, including eight years with the public sector insurer. He is an Actuary by qualification and a Certified Director from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Prior to being appointed as CEO, Ali was the Chief Strategy Officer at EFU Life. In the early part of his career, he started as a trainee and has risen through the ranks to reach the executive management level. Over the years, Ali has been directly responsible for driving product innovation, investment fund management, distribution channels, growth segments and brand development, while also shaping and implementing the company’s long-term strategy with the Board. Ali is an advocate for financial inclusion and is a regular speaker at local and international forums on leadership, diversity and inclusivity, technology shifts, distribution and market outreach, and change management as well as topics on social and economic development.
