A seasoned professional, Haaris has over 20 years of experience in banking & finance, corporate & regulatory affairs, strategy, multi-channel product distribution, risk management, and public policy with notable organizations such as Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, Citibank. He also served as a director at Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited.
His experience extends to managing financial institutions through economic cycles, emphasizing credit strategy development, strategy, portfolio management, regional governance, remedial planning, and receivables management.
Prior to joining Mobilink Bank, Haaris served as CEO of USF (Universal Service Fund, Ministry of IT & Telecom), delivering a significant impact to 40 million beneficiaries nationwide through an investment of over PKR 70 billion. He is passionate about egalitarian business operations with a specific focus on women empowerment, diversity, equity, & inclusion and green financing.
Haaris holds an MBA from New York Institute of Technology.
