Deborah Coakley is the Managing Director of Real Estate at QIC, shaping real estate investment, development, and business strategies to meet the needs and expectations of our investors, partners, and the communities we serve.
She has more than 25 years’ experience in funds management, business operations and human resource leadership roles gained in organisations such as Dexus, Deloitte, Qantas and Alexander Mann Solutions.
She is also a National Vice President of the Property Council of Australia and a Non-Executive Director of the Children’s Cancer Institute. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Company Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, (B.Bus) and has participated in learning immersions at Harvard Australia and Said Business School, Oxford.

The Property group brings together senior leaders across the industry’s development and construction, investment, funds management and agency sectors. The group aims to achieve greater gender equality in the property industry and to increase the number of women in leadership roles.
