David Randerson is a member of the Champions of Change Architects Group, joining in 2019.
David manages the DKO Sydney studio and also plays a key role in leading a multidisciplinary team of over 200 professionals, working across all of DKO’s studios in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. He joined DKO in 2004 as an Architectural Graduate, becoming a Director in 2010.
David has a wealth of experience as an Architect and Urban Designer. He is passionate about residential design, the master planning of communities and major urban design projects. David’s work focusses on the integration of open public space and the built form, with strong design credentials underpinned by exceptional client liaison and briefing skills.Beyond his project work, David has assisted state government to develop housing design policies, including the preparation of policy and expert advice for the Department of Planning (NSW), Growth Centers Commission, Landcom, the Land Development Agency and ACTPLA.
David’s participation in the Champions of Change Architects Group is integral to his personal beliefs as well as the culture and values of DKO Architecture. At DKO we continue to innovate, aspiring to create a culture that allows all employees to thrive.

Champions of Change Architects
David Randerson is a Member of the Champions of Change Architecture Group established in 2015 in partnership with the Australian Institute of Architects. The group is committed to working together to proactively address the issue of gender equality, and women’s representation in leadership in Australian architecture practices, and across the profession.
