Aziz Boolani joined the Champions of Change Pakistan Group in 2018.
Aziz Boolani has been associated with the hospitality industry since 1986. He has worked on various positions including but not limited to General Manager, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer; for Marriott Hotels, Pearl Continental Hotels and Serena Hotels in Pakistan, respectively.
Since 2000 he has been the Chief Executive Officer for Serena Hotels in South and Central Asia with properties in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. During his career with Serena Hotels, he has been actively involved in the completion and commissioning of five hotels including the capital city hotels i.e., Islamabad, Kabul and Dushanbe.
The President of Pakistan conferred the second highest civil award, ‘Sitar-e-Imtiaz’ on Aziz Boolani, on 23rd March 2016. Aziz received this award for his invaluable contributions on the community engagement programmes under the banner of Sports, Culture, Adventure Diplomacy initiatives. He has been instrumental in the women’s empowerment program for the marginalized and underprivileged communities. He has done this through the vocational training under the banner of Karighar, a CSR program of Serena Hotels Pakistan.
Aziz Boolani has served as the Chairman Pakistan Hotels Association from 2004 to 2006. He is a fellow member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Aziz has completed the General Manager and Marketing program from the Holiday Inn University Memphis-USA.
Aziz Boolani is currently the Chairman of the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP). He has also worked in other institutions of the Aga Khan Development Network in an honorary capacity.
