Asim Siddiqui

Asim Siddiqui joined Male Champions of Change Pakistan group in 2018.

Asim Siddiqui is the Country Managing Partner of EY Ford Rhodes, EY’s member firm in Pakistan. Based at the firm’s Karachi head office, Asim’s career spans 30 years; with almost three quarters of it in consulting and transaction advisory. Prior to his current role, Asim led the Transaction Advisory Services team in Pakistan. He has served as a member of the Executive Board of the firm since 2011. With over 1400 personnel, Asim’s focus has been on bringing EY’s premium services to clients in Pakistan. He has done this by investing in developing a talent pool with diverse backgrounds and high potential for growth.

In addition to transactions advisory, Asim played a key role in setting up the risk advisory and infrastructure advisory services (part of Strategy & Transactions services) in Pakistan office. He has been involved in most of the major merger and acquisition transactions in past 10-15 years in Pakistan in one way or another. Asim is passionate about working with government and private sector across various sectors, particularly, energy, transport and telecom. He is particularly proud of EY’s role in the development of public private partnerships in Pakistan.

Asim qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 with Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and became member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in 1996 and became a fellow in 2002.

The Pakistan group includes representatives from various sectors including hospitality, telecommunications, information technology, micro-finance and sport. Members are committed to leading on gender equality, diversity and women’s empowerment within their organisations and in society as a whole.
